By the time her phone buzzed with Lyra's reply, Rosario had made it through to Christmas of 1998. A picture, infuriating in its familiarity, was emerging from the mass of articles and photos accumulating on her USB stick: Archer 'Chase' Goldenhawk II was the unquestioned king of Greek life at Columbia. He was brilliant (made the dean's list every semester without breaking a sweat), he was popular (if something exciting was happening on campus, he was there and usually the one instigating it), he was generous (rumour had it he'd promised an all-expenses-paid week in Aspen to every guy in the frat who could maintain a 3.4 GPA, and he'd made sure they all got over the line) and he was the hottest bachelor on the market (stories swirled about him being seen sneaking around on campus with a certain unnamed Billboard Hot 100 pop starlet).
In other words, he was literally Archer.
For real this is weirding me the hell out
I'm reading all these college paper articles from the 90s and he's EXACTLY like Archer
