Much laughed at her accidental outburst - as someone well-versed in speaking before he thought about his words, it wasn't so hard to recognize it in others. "How can you think you're ruining anything, when that's the kind of thing that slips out?" he asked, thrilled that she thought he was a good kisser. It was encouraging, absolutely... though he was very confused about why she sounded so sad about it. He squeezed one of her arms before letting go, and using that hand to lift her chin, gently, so she'd look at him.
"Everything's good," he gave her a smile, trying to reassure her, looking into her dark, lovely eyes. From there the distance between them was so easy to close again, and he kissed her once more, moving slowly to take first her top lip in his, then her bottom, lingering there with her arms around his shoulders. "See? The opposite of ruined," he murmured, enjoying the way his lips brushed hers when he spoke. He opened his eyes, checking in, as much as he just wanted to fall deeply back into kissing. "Yeah?"
