Robin stared at her for a long time, but slowly, he nodded. He was proud of her. She had told him no. She had put a boundary in place, knowing there would be no backlash. Knowing he would accept it. And he wasn't going to break her trust.
"I understand," he said gently. "But I don't like it. Can you bring one of the boys with you? The Friar? Or- God, Mar. Can I sit outside in the car?"
