Marian had rather been expecting that reaction from Robin, and part of her couldn't believe she was saying it either. Robin had watched her traumatized mind (and body) attempting to recover from her time with the Sheriff, and just a month ago he had watched her nearly lose her mind when she was told the Sheriff was back in the city. She had made Robin swear that the Sheriff would never get anywhere near her, and now she was saying she wanted to go see him.
And although she had thought about what she would say to Robin about this, now that she was talking the words felt much more difficult and confused. She frowned. "There's- there are things that I need to know, and things that- that I cannot stop thinking about. I have questions and the Sheriff is the only one who can give me the answers." She picked at at the crust of her toastie, not feeling very hungry right now. "The thought of seeing him- or maybe the thought of him seeing me... it makes me feel sick. But I think I need to."
