WHO: Friar Tuck, Robin Hood, Will Scarlet WHEN: Friday morning WHERE: Courthouse then maybe the Fox to celebrate? WHAT: Parole hearings WARNINGS: TBA
Tuck had let Will dress him today.
It was the way of Will's hearing which would decide if his parole would end, or be extended. Tuck had wanted to look smart and put-together, like a proper doting partner and not an emotional mess in a stretched-out sweater. He had to admit he did look good in the clothes Will had chosen for him. Clean-cut and fashionable. Will himself was wearing his Sunday best.
They were outside the courthouse, having just parked, when Robin jogged up to them, also cutting a fine figure in a rakish suit jacket. "Ay up!" he said, pulling Will in for a hug. "You ready for this, nephew?"
"He's going to be amazing," Tuck answered, trying to hide his nerves. This was fine. Everything was fine. Will had done so well. He had a steady job, a long-term partner, a home, a family. All of that counted.
