WARNINGS Luna stuff

Last night, after allowing herself a moment to breakdown in her room, Luna had returned to the two gods in the bedroom and continued on with the planned night. She had drawn on all of her acting skills and had forced the anger to become desperate passion instead. Perhaps she came off as a little too hungry, a little too forceful, but it was better than actually showing her true feelings.

Hermes had done it because he thought she wanted it, but she had made it clear she didn't want it. So Hermes had simply not listened. It wasn't the first time that he hadn't listened, but it was the most recent and the one that stung the most.

When they were finally done with the sex and Luna got to go sleep, her dreams were all filled with various violations that she couldn't escape. She woke with the sure knowledge that there was one violation that she could escape.

She was leaving.

She was done with this.

She would work out another way to live, a scary and lonely way, but another way. She would make her own choices and no one would ever be allowed to take something from her ever again.

On her wall calendar - amongst all the mess of required things - Luna drew a little gold dot on Wednesday. Three days to arrange things and sort out her words, and on Wednesday night she would sit them down and she would talk to them. The fear of what they might say or do was long behind now, and she was settled on this course. No matter what, on Wednesday she would end this.

It was a terrifying prospect, but staying had become almost scarier. Even another year here and who would the girl on the other side be? Would Luna even recognise her? Would she want to recognise her?

But today Luna had to meet Hecate at Staten Island, and when she approached her in the garden with a wave, Luna wondered if this was the last time she would see the goddess of witchcraft. The sun was beating down as it always was these days, and Luna was wearing a light open flannel over her usual shorts and tank top working clothes.
