"It isn't," Urania agreed. In an ideal would nothing would stand in the way of this girl and her clever mind. In an ideal world Urania would go to her father, Zeus in his infinite powers, and ask him to bless Rosario with gold and jewels so that Urania could focus on inspiring her. In an ideal world Urania would have sat beside Rosario and looked over her shoulder at the work she was doing, would have gently encouraged and praised (when deserved). Not all of that was out of Urania's reach though.
"But even in an unfair and difficult world," Urania added, "there can be advantageous bonds made with others. Although you are not able to dedicate yourself to astronomy at this point in your life, I would be greatly pleased if you would take advantage of my connections and knowledge for your own gain." Although Urania said 'greatly pleased' her expression remained unsmiling and serious. Perhaps this would have been the time to force a smile, but she didn't. From the pocket of her dress, Urania drew out the business card that had her office number printed on it and, beneath it, her mobile number in small, neat handwriting. "I would like for you to consider me a friend in this unideal world."
