Marcie snorted. Nice to know Kaden still had a sense of humour under there. "Oh yeah, pure, wholesome excitement is truly lacking in New York," she agreed, raising her beer in a toast to that. "All the yo-yo museums over there are super seedy." She wanted to ask Kaden if he'd been settling in alright today, how he'd been managing, if he'd spoken to anyone really, but it was kind of a private conversation, so she smiled and drank her beer and was just grateful he even came out at all.
