Marcie glanced at Kaden, then smiled at Much when he spoke to her. "Probably just chill. Maybe I'll go for a walk or something." She was going to miss Much's stabilizing influence, but they would still talk. It would be alright. The closer they got to boarding, though, the more antsy Kaden was getting, and she was starting to get worried. What if she couldn't handle this thing with Kaden? He was a good kid. He'd been funny and alive and energetic once. Maybe he would be again, before they came back.
She nudged Much's side with her elbow. "Make sure you keep an eye on things for me. Y'know, on a divine level. Let me know if things blow up while we're gone."
