"Oh? Well, then I might as well partake with you!" Calliope beamed and went to find another glass for herself. Slouching a bit, Orpheus went back to the sofa and picked up his own drink. He shot Theo a smile and a nod.
"How is New York treating you both?" he asked.
Calliope came back in to join them. "I've been here almost a year, and Theo joined me a couple of months later, after- well. We've been enjoying each other's company, haven't we dear?" She smiled at Theo as she poured the glass for herself, and sat down on the sofa between them. "Oh but you must stay here, Orpheus?"
Orpheus glanced around. It wasn't quite his taste of living situation, but he didn't have anywhere else lined up yet. "Maybe just one night. I don't want to impose..."
"It's no imposition! I'm happy to have you, love. Theo doesn't mind you staying, do you sweetheart?" She glanced at Theo, and then reached out to clasp Orpheus' hand.
