With an easy smile, Orpheus nodded to Theo. "Hello precious sister," he said, giving her a once over. "You're looking well. Mother isn't home?" He walked in without being invited, setting his guitar and knapsack down on the floor and looking around the space. He would have to put these flowers in water, the poor things were parched. Even his humming wasn't reviving them, although they did try, bless them. He started going through cupboards in the kitchen to find a vase for the flowers.
"Sorry to hear about your divorce," he called back as he did so. "Major downer, huh? But these hurdles life throws at us are opportunities to jump higher, I believe."
