Hecate's first impulse was no. No, Wisconsin was too far, too unprotected. After fighting so hard to keep Kaden secret, to let him wander out into the world, beyond the protection of the Enodia, it was foolish.
She let herself feel this first impulse without reacting, though, to see what would follow in its wake. Marcie needed to heal too, and being taken care of by her mother could go a long way to help with that.
