Melpomene's palm stung, it throbbed, hot - hot as blood, as though it was dripping Tragos' blood again. The violence shook her, the threats and the memories shook her and she wiped her hand against her thigh, but it didn't change a thing. Her hand was still stained, her hand still throbbed.
Urania has scolded her for saying that Telos was cursed, but if she could hear Marcie now, talking of tainted blood and haunting... Well, Urania would still claim it was nonsense, but Melpomene knew better, she knew how the world worked and nothing made sence without tainted blood and hauntings and curses.
