Genesis was fine with sitting on the bench beside Beti and just eating their lunch quietly. She was good with quiet- theirs was a profession with a lot of quiet around it.
"Caspian," Genesis smiled, the warmth entering her voice with the name as she looked over at Beti. "He's a good kid. Got such a smart on him though. I don't get to see him as much as I'd like." She shrugged, turning the pita in her hand, thinking about Caspian instead of the actual food. "He lives with his dad and I only get visitation."
