"Yeah, my folks and brothers are still down there," Genesis nodded. She had mentioned when applying for the job that she'd grown up in a family funeral home, but since then it hadn't really come up. "Still running the same funeral parlor as when I was a kid. My brother has taken over a lot of it now." At least, that was what she'd last heard. After her drug problems, Genesis' relationship with her family had become strained and it felt harder and harder to just be at ease around them. She knew her parents loved her, but she didn't think they were heartbroken to see her move away.
