"He is not cursed," Urania said, and there was an edge of frustration (and almost anger) in her voice. "He is a child with a life laid out ahead of him, and you continuing to say he's cursed will only encourage such."
Then she turned a little so that she could reach out and gently take Melpomene's hands in hers, away from her hair, to make Melpomene see her. "There is no curse here," she said, tone softening but still certain. "Only the twists of fate. And I know that Telos comes back soon, and I will not have you raising him to believe himself cursed and doomed."
