No, no it wasn't - Kaden didn't want to go to bed. The two thoughts of I don't want to sleep and I don't want to leave were trying very hard to defeat the thought I don't want to die and almost winning - dying was harder to imagine than leaving.
But imagining it was not impossible - Kaden had seen his brothers beaten up enough to know they could be broken. And Apollo might have been too clean to look like a killer but Kaden knew he'd nearly killed Marcie.
Might as well make use of a voice box while you have it. A horrible threat. Complete with gory visuals.
