"I found something, going through my boxes-" Rhiannon ran her hands along the carvings in the little wooden treasure box in her hands. It was clearly old, and worn with time. "My grandmother was this sort of...fancy woman. She held ridiculous tea parties and insisted on perfect manners and she terrified me. She always looked amazing though, and when she passed, my mother - your grandmother - inherited all of her things. My mother was- Let's just stick with 'not the same'. She gave us the jewellry to play with because she was much more interested in 'getting on with things'" Rhiannon even put on a stern voice for that.
"Your ma and I spent years dressing up in her clothes and wearing her jewels and having tea parties. And it was only when I grew up I realised- They're not just silly little plastic things, it's pretty expensive costume jewellry and I- Well here," she opened the box and pulled out a pink necklace. It was one example of course, and inside the box were dozens of necklaces and earrings and bracelets and broaches of all colours and even some really nice pearls. "I don't know if all of it will work but some I thought- You might be able to use it on stage?"
