Sometimes one of the twins would say something like that and it would floor Rhiannon a little. She loved them so much she thought of them like her own children, and she was so grateful to know he felt supported and loved. "That must have been so hard for him," she said gently, "he has us now. I volunteer to support the stuffing out of him," she laughed.
She got a little more serious a second later. "I know you worried about coming out to me, Iestyn. And I know why." She had always been loving, but she had been stern too. She wasn't the most emotional or effusive person, unlike her sister. Though since Bridget's diagnosis she had worked a lot on being more of both since her twins would be without that light in their lives. Iestyn would have had no idea if she would accept him or not. And of course once he opened up, Rhiannon was able to reassure him that she loved him for who he was, not in spite of who he was. "I'm so proud of you for finding someone like Henry and being with him. Being who you are."
