The thrill of Ariadne and the thrill of an audience: both were intoxicating to the lord of intoxication and he let the moment sweep him away as he sang with her, taking her in his arms and waltzing her between the tables. "Who minds, what dangers? I know we'll get past the woods!"
On the other side of the restaurant, confused and enthralled (and probably at least a few annoyed) patrons all around them, Dionysus took her face in his hands adoringly. "And once we're past, let's hope the changes last."
