Robin had taken the stairs three-by-three because he could, and emerged in Marian's top floor apartment to find her playing games on her computer. It was a sight he hadn't seen in so long, and yet it was so comfortingly familiar, it was like being kicked in the chest.
"Ay up, Duck!" he said, loping over to her so he could wrap his arms around her while she sat, and kiss her shoulder. "What game is this?"
