Henry blinked, stunned to silence by Iestyn's words. He had always assumed it was gonna be him who slipped and said it, and Iestyn would be kind and sweet and let him down easy. Tell him yes, Henry was lovely and all, but there was no future with a grown man who lived off his parents and was afraid of the dark.
And then out slipped the words, and Henry was suddenly clinging to Iestyn just as tightly as Iestyn was clinging to him. "I love you too," he breathed. "God, I do."
