Tragos was relieved Marcie wasn't pushing the legal job question. He didn't want her to ask for something he couldn't give her, not after getting so much out of all the things he'd been able to give her today. One day, maybe.
But today he was getting her name tattooed into his skin. He found the address, and pointed for her to take the next right, then looked from the map on his screen up at her, frowning a little at her sudden change of topic. "Yeah, he's fine," he said, automatically, and then thought differently of it. Something was obviously troubling Kaden, and had been for a few days. Even though Kaden had clearly said something to Marcie (Tragos had gotten a very firm text to the other night 'Go and hug Kaden' with no context or explanation offered) Tragos still didn't feel right admitting that there was anything wrong with his little brother, like it was some kind of betrayal.
"...He say something to you about it?" he asked Marcie, keeping his voice casual.
