Freyja saw the look and recognised it, standing to pick up the wine from the bench and standing over him as she refilled it. "I did think it odd, you making friends with a man of the Christian cloth," Freyja agreed, "but I can't fault anyone for caring for their neighbours, as long as they don't go around converting people." How wonderful everything had been before the Christians showed up and ruined it, made them so much less than they had been before.
