Will got up once he got Luna's text and pulled on said coat before heading outside.
Things still felt weird with Alan, but at least they were talking again. A box of doughnuts might go a long way towards ingratiating himself and cheering the bloke up. Poor Alan. Will should've been a better friend. He felt like he was in a bad position to be a shoulder to cry on now. He wished he could erase the whole event from his mind, instead of just the blurring caused by booze.
"Oi-oi," Will said, hands in pockets, as he leaned down to wave in the window of Luna's car and then open the passenger side door and get in. "You goin my way?"
