“Counseling is a better idea than booze,” Alan agreed. “Booze you have to just keep having more of and it makes you a worse person. Counseling is about slowly getting better and being a better person. Counseling doesn’t make you hurt your friends.”
He sighed at Will’s question though. “Peachy-keen,” he told Will flatly. “You know well how splendidly I do after a break up. And especially-” when I still love her so much. He swallowed. “Well, especially when I regret it.”
