As soon as it was out of his mouth, Will could hear himself doing it again, punishing anyone who tried to help him, and he set his jaw stubbornly as a tear fell free. Taking a shaky breath, he tried to pull himself together.
"Ever since the Sheriff killed Tuck, I've been feeling worse and worse," he gritted out, more angry, frustrated tears splashing down his face. "Having that threat hanging over us- You didn't see what Tuck was like when he came back, you didn't see him struggling to breathe-" It was one of the many things that revisited Will in his nightmares sometimes.
