Stutely scrubbed surreptitiously at his face as Scarlet drew back from Marian. Without intending it, his eyes darted again toward the former men's room, to the new pine door resting slightly ajar. He wasn't sure if Robin had told Marian about the renos and he didn't want her wandering into it without knowing what she'd find, but he couldn't say anything now, with her looking so wrung-out and overwhelmed. What if it was too much? What if she was hurt that he'd meddled in her space?
He tore his gaze away swiftly. "Smells like heaven, too," he agreed. "It's a proper Tuck feast."
