"Marian," he breathed, as he immediately teared up. He stood slowly, approaching her like she was something precious. And god, to him she was. He wished he looked better than he did, but he knew he looked healthier than he had the last time she'd seen him. He still wished he had managed to put more weight on. He knew she was going to be scrutinising the way he looked like he was her. She looked somber and scared, but it was her.
