Luna sighed and leaned back in her chair. This was the exact same things she'd tried to tell him when they'd broken up, and he hadn't listened then and still wasn't listening now.
"I told you before," she said gently, "none of that felt like freedom to me. Or, maybe it was freedom but I don't want freedom. I want the safety of someone else being in control. But that said," she added, running her hand through her hair, "it is different now, with them. We've talked more about what I want and need, and what they want from me. I know properly where the lines are now."
