Addy sighed and then she realised she should probably get off her father's legs. "Gosh, sorry, your legs are probably dead now-" she climbed down, but didn't go far, perching on the arm of his chair instead. "I never wanted to be anything more than friends with him. And now I don't even know if I want that. I don't know if he's capable of being a good friend right now. Let alone a good father," Addy groaned, and leaned her head against David's shoulder. "It's alright. This baby is going to have so many people who love them. That's what matters, right?"
