Clio leaned in against him, snuggling close. "Oh so ugly," she grinned.
"Well that took no convincing at all," Tuck chuckled. "Glad to have you here." He briefly considered going to pick up Will as well and they could, all four of them, huddle in the parsonage together. It was really picking up outside, however, and Tuck didn't trust his church van to safely traverse the icy streets in the dark. He would go over there in the light of day if the snow eased off a little. Give them time to plow the streets.
"I feel like I haven't gotten to just chat with you in ages," Tuck said to Clio. "How have you been?"
"Second semester is in full swing now! I enjoy it more because it tends to weed out the people who take history courses because they think it's easy. I get the ones who are truly passionate about it. I have a PhD student just about to publish as well. I'm so proud!" she beamed.
