Hecate regarded Luna for a moment, searching for her intentions. Was it that she thought she was undeserving of healing, as she'd thought, only days ago, that the man who did this to her was undeserving of Hecate's curse? No... Hecate didn't think that was the heart of it. Healing was a process, and sometimes the mind needed to witness the body healing on its own, to prove that the mind, too, could slowly knit itself back together.
Whatever Luna's reasons, it was Luna's choice to make, and Hecate was grateful that she'd chosen this way. If she did not need to pour all her strength into Luna, then she had a little more for keeping her eye on all the other things she needed to keep an eye on. She had been half expecting to return from this search to find neither Ares nor Apollo had help up on their end of Athena's deal.
"I'll get it started," Hecate said, taking Luna's lower arm in her hands. "Then Qebhet can lend her hand, and then you, Luna, can do the rest. How does that sound?"
A little too late she thought of how this all sounded to the other woman in the room with them, but did not worry too much. The woman had been lead to the site of a horrific scene by an unusually large dog, if she could cope with the horror of that, she could cope with a little magic.
