What she needed was enough to cover Luna so she could get out of the house without being noticed. Tinsel found her way to the man's bedroom, and covered her hands with the ends of her scarf as she pulled open drawers and the wardrobe.
A cotton shirt would do, light enough to cover her arms, no polyester to get stuck in the wounds. Some knitted gloves, jeans, socks and shoes followed. In the bathroom sat the first aid kit, still open from when the man had dressed the first wounds. A damp hand towel would do to try and wash her hands a bit. This all she carried through into the lounge and dumped it on the floor.
"I don't know if you'll fit the shoes, but you need to be dressed. It's cold out." From her own head, she took her beanie, and settled it over Luna's tangled hair, and with the corner of the damp towel, she wiped the blood splatter, snot and tears off Luna's face. "I messaged Peitho. She said she is coming."
