Realistically, none of the three men who had been imprisoned by the Sheriff could go, because the Sheriff would recognise them instantly. It had to be one of these outsiders. Didn't mean it didn't rankle, though.
Will was still watching Much, though, and he frowned and shifted through the group to clasp his shoulder, silently checking on him and strengthening him. Much looked like he was staring into the abyss or something. Don't cry in front of everyone, he said silently with a gentle squeeze.
Elaine nodded to Michael, accepting his word, and wondering what else she could do. She would need to talk to Merlin about dreamwalking, and see if she could at least reach Marian's mind, reach out to her a little. It might not be a lot yet, but it was something.
