"That would be him," Will replied, pointing at Tuck, immediately selling him out. "And it was his forehead, not his fist. Gave our leader a lovely kiss for coming home."
He was glad to see Much, and gave his friend a warm smile. It felt like an age since they'd spent any decent time together. He headed over to clap Much on the shoulder, and lean over to see what he'd brought.
"Oh! Sausages!" A female voice interrupted them. Elaine had followed Much in from the garden, and she smiled around at the small group of men. "Good evening! How are you, good sirs?" She was dressed in blue tonight, with a white pinafore over the top, and she went immediately to Robin to clasp his hands.
"Robin! How delightful that we finally meet!" and she gave him a beaming smile.
