Tuck rounded the table and sat back down again, away from Robin and quite startlingly close to Stutely. Which he wasn't going to admit was for protection. "It was shit. She was pretending to be his little-" Tuck trailed off, choking up at the words. "And because she cooperated it got us a meal a day. One. She had to debase herself to feed us. Do you understand how that fucking feels?! And all for one goddamn- And then he drugged her and took her away anyway. You weren't here. You haven't been here. Don't you dare downplay what we've been through while you were off suiting yourself."
Robin listened to every last word, and then he heaved a heavy breath. "There aint nothing I can say except I'm sorry," he said knowing it wasn't enough. "You're right, I can't imagine and I don't understand. We're going to come up with a plan tonight. And then I'm going to put everything into making it up to all of you."
Tuck held Robin's gaze for a moment more, and then he nodded. "Okay."
"Someone named Ben is coming too?"
"God of Nerd," Tuck explained. "Got us out of those fucking cages. Oh. And helped us steal five million from the sheriff."
At that, Robin's head shot up. "You what?!" he hissed, delighted.
