Athena's expression didn't flinch, but for just an instant, as Marcie described the awful pursuit that had culminated in a desperate stabbing and a violent curse, cold fury flashed behind her eyes. Oh, she would have words with her brother. But it was Marcie, and not Apollo, who was before her now, and she could see the sick panic rising in the girl's expression, and so she reined in the anger as swiftly as it surfaced. "No," she said quietly. "No, it most certainly was not your fault. What Apollo did was unconscionable. And, yes, I will help if I can. Who else knows?"
