The way he looked at her before he kissed her sent a tingle straight down through her. She smiled against his mouth and kissed him back, parting her lips to invite him to deepen the kiss, because she’d missed him too, and his closeness was all-consuming. She didn’t even hear the world outside of his touch. She slid her arms around his shoulders to draw him to sit down with her. “Where have you been?”
