She was glad for the comfort and she clasped his hand right back. "I told her we should tell you," Rhiannon admitted, quietly. "I think she didn't want to draw you there. After everything you both gave up, I think she worried-" Rhiannon cut herself off, because everything Bridget had feared had come to pass anyway. But at least the twins weren't lost to them. If Bridget and David hadn't made the sacrifice in the first place, the twins would be very different people, their very souls twisted.
