Hearing her name pulled Luna out of her thoughts on what the rest of her evening was going to look like. She'd already pretty much decided that a visit to Illunis was on the books, and maybe she'd lock eyes with someone beautiful who could make her forget about Will.
God, she missed Will. It hurt to miss him like she did, but there was no way to repair what had happened. Besides, he'd made it clear what he thought of her really. Maybe they were just words spoken in anger, but even angry words had a layer of truth to them.
So when she turned her head and saw that it was Much, she felt the double whammy of sadness and of anger.
Sadness because... well, she'd thought Much was pretty cool. He was witty and fun and she'd thought he had liked her as well. She hadn't realised that he, along with the rest of the Merry Men, were just putting on this front for her while talking shit behind her back. Fuck them for that. Fuck them all for making Luna think they cared.
"Oh, hi," Luna said, tilting her head to watch him, expression cold and appraising.
