Peering at tea leaves meant little to Elaine. She wasn't much of a diviner anyway. If it wasn't foretold in a book, it was a little outside of her range. But the tea was good, and she trusted what the three ladies saw without question.
"I know a little something about stories being turned to darker purpose," she said, sipping her tea. "What do you think it would take for me to be able to turn the threads towards me? I wove a spell recently, wherein I told a story about a person and an item that I had in front of me, and managed to manifest the enchantment onto the item. I'm still not sure how long the enchantment will last, but I have hopes it is permanent. The Merry Men have a certain amount of happily ever after to them already, but how do I make that stick? How can I tell their story before it has been lived?"
She frowned, challenged by the puzzle before her. "I feel like I must make something to channel the path. But I am not sure- and if so, what."
