Clotho smiled warmly in return. Fairytales, of course! No wonder she felt familiar. Last time they'd met, the goddess had worn a different face, but underneath... yes, she recognised it now. Behind the counter, Lachesis was doing a solid job of listening unobtrusively, to all appearances focussed on her knitting. Atropos, who was leaned forward in her seat flagrantly eavesdropping, gave a small wave.
