It wasn't even the fact that she was a woman that could have children, she had never considered what it would be like to be a mother. The idea seemed impossible, and never had she had someone close enough to help push those thoughts forward. Now she was in this thought process because Mother Nature propelled it. It was quite possible there was nothing here to stress over, but she was really frustrated that this could turn such a good thing sour.
She held him so tightly, comforting herself by stroking her fingers through his hair. He'd said that night if they were faced with that he wasn't going to bail. Now they were faced with it, he hadn't bailed, and they didn't even have an answer.
