WHO: Friar Tuck, Erato - phone! Will Scarlet for a little bit WHEN: Sunday night WHERE: Diogenes Club and then wherever they end up fucking! WHAT: Branching out WARNINGS: TBH - Smutty probably
With the knowledge that somehow, at some point, the sheriff was going to take him prisoner again, Tuck really did not want to be alone at home. While Much was working the bar, Tuck had toddled along to Diogenes and settled down in a booth, content to stay there for Much's entire shift. They could work out some kind of system later, but for now, booth-perching could work. He had brought a book with him - We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson, and he was snacking on polenta chips while he nursed a beer because he very much wanted to avoid getting drunk again any time soon. Anything to avoid becoming a maudlin, blubbering mess for his friends or Will to have to clean up.
The atmosphere in Diogenes was pleasant enough though, and he was comforted by the voices around him while he read. He was safe here, even if the sheriff did show up, and that made him relax for the first time since Merlin had made his prediction on Friday evening.
