Tuck had said his children had known other immortals; he hadn't mentioned one was Daniel's mother-in-law. Will took that in with a curious tilt of the head. "When you put it that way, I guess it doesn't sound like such a big deal." Daniel had loved his father, and he'd got little love from his mother after Tuck had died. Then his father had come back. When you took away the hand-wringing and the existential alarm of having to explain the existence of immortals, it all suddenly seemed to become very simple.
But of course, there was something else missing from that equation, Will thought, as Tuck turned the recently-installed deadlock. He'd guessed Tuck wouldn't have wanted to sour the reunion them by bringing up the Sheriff and Gisborne and the Prince right off the bat, and fair enough, too. At some point, though, they'd have to broach the subject. It wasn't fair to leave them in the dark.
