The return grin on Apollo's face was so deep it strained his cheeks as Ares named him, even if it was followed by mocking. All of these men would remember him, now. Behind Ares, he caught sight of one of the boys he'd taken down already, and the slight flare of recognition as Ares said his name. Good, Apollo thought, and shucked his shirt as well, tossing it carelessly aside.
The crowd was hungry for blood but the one-sided show they were expecting was not the show they were going to get. There'd be blood, alright, but Apollo had a point to prove, and he wasn't going down easy.
"And you're going to choke on those words," he shot back at Ares. "Gonna smash your face in so hard Aphrodite'll be spoon feeding you for a month, or till she gets bored of you and comes for me again."
