Ares glanced at her too, narrowing his eyes. Aphrodite would have a shitfit if he gambled away her new favourite right before their wedding, but on the other hand, he wasn't going to lose, so it wasn't a risk.
"Agreed," he said. "And when you lose, you dont step foot in my temple again."
"You can't!" Marcie burst out, fists clenched. "You won't take me!" Ares ignored her though, staring Apollo in his unfathomable eyes, showing him he wasn't backing down.
"This way," he said, and strode away towards the doors. A crowd of people parted for them to pass, low murmurings of anticipation creating a buzz. Marcie stood frozen for a minute, forgetting about Tragos in her rage and disgust, and followed after. If she was going to be the prize, she was going to watch the fight.
