Marcie got a slightly flirty smirk on her face at the mention of "swords". "I've heard of your prowess with your sword," she said, glancing down coyly. "You could definitely teach me a thing or two, I bet." God, he was cute. She looked back up him. Being that with her heels on she was close to eye level with him, and that they were still standing rather close, she frowned slightly as she noticed the edge of a shadowy bruise below the mask.
"Oh- what happened?" she said, and a sudden fear that something had happened with Malcolm that she hadn't know about had her reaching out to lift the mask out of the way. She sucked in a breath between her teeth, wanting to reach up and touch his black eye, and soothe it the way he'd done for her. "That looks sore. That wasn't- it wasn't because of me, was it?"
