Tuck reached out, smoothing a hand through Will's hair. "So brilliant. But it's more than that." Tuck knew, logically, that Will had sat by his side while he was dead, and ministered to him. And Will had been there for him in his first few days back from the dead as well. This still felt somehow more intimate.
"I was...so lonely for a long time," he said seriously. "Afraid to even try anything close to a relationship. I always had you lot when you were around, and I had occasional lovers but never something like this. Not for almost thirty years. And I just can't...tell you how much this means to me. How grateful I am. Not just for you looking after me. I mean...all of it. I'm so grateful all the time for all of it."
